Description
Alta Mogiana is the name given to a selection of highest-quality coffees from a group of around 100 smallholder producers in the Mogiana coffee-growing region of Brazil. The region itself takes its name from the railway system, which was built in 1872. The harvest on these coffees is primarily done mechanically, with a quality sort after harvest and before drying. With the right combination of altitude, rich soils and stable climate, Alta Mogiana offers the perfect condition to grow coffee. The most common processing method is Natural because the climate and altitude are favorable.
